Team NH: Eastern High School Championships

How to qualify:
Compete in the 2 NH Series Races.

Who makes the team?
The top 24 boys and 24 girls with the cumulatively best results from the 2 events are selected to represent NH. Alternates will also be selected as necessary.

When will the team be selected?
The team will be selected and all fees collected immediately following the second NH Series race at White Mountain Regional High School

Do I need to be a member of NENSA?
Yes, all team members and coaches must be NENSA members. www.nensa.net

What if I miss a race due to illness or injury?
You can file a waiver with the Team Leader. Waiver forms can be found on the Registration page. This must be done prior to the second NH Series race.

What will the competition cost?
$350 (Checks should be payable to: NHNCA)

What does the fee include?
This covers the cost of lodging, meals, race entry fees, and wax.

What if I want a Team NH Jacket?
Jackets can be ordered on the February 11th for $100

Where will we be staying?
Mountain Top Inn & Resort, Chittenden, VT
Note:  All team members must stay with the team!


How do I get there?
All athletes are responsible for providing their own transportation to the venue!

The NH J2 and Eastern High School Teams

A major focus of the NH Nordic Coaches Association is the development of ski racing throughout the state.  To that end the Association selects the skiers who will represent New Hampshire at the J2 Championships and The Eastern High School Championships.

Eastern High School Championship Information

DATE:  March 16-18th, 2012

VENUE: Mountain Top Inn/Resort Chittenden, VT
The Eastern High School Championships is the premier event for high school and prep school racers in New England and New York. Competition between states is highly competitive and media is attention is significant. The goal of the EHSC is to provide the highest quality competition for high school-aged athletes.   Athletes qualify for the EHS Championships through state qualifying races (ME, NH, VT, MA, and NY). Up to 24 boys and 24 girls are selected for each state's teams.
