14th Annual Middle School State Championship

(behind Post Office at the tennis courts)
(4k Freestyle race first, followed by 3x1k Classical relay race)

Schedule
Registration deadline is February 15th via email. (regular running order only, register relay teams when you arrive)
9:00  -  Packet pick-up (start lists, bibs, course maps, schedule) Enter Relay Team rosters.
10:30 -  Girls 4k freestyle race, waves of 5 every 30 seconds.
11:15  - Boys 4k freestyle race, waves of 5 every 30 seconds.
1:15   -  Boys and Girls ‘A’ Teams classic relay, followed by the mixed teams classic relay.
3:00   -  Awards assembly at shed.

  • Medals to top 10 in each gender
  • Plaques to State Champions and runner-up girls team and boys team.

* Note- Please provide your own bibs if you have them!  (bib number update this week)
Inter-Lakes will provide bibs for those who need them, let us know in advance. obr@cyberpine.net

Scoring
  • Scoring will be top 4 freestyle individuals (girls/boys) per school, along with the relay points for your top team. 100 point scoring. All schools will score regardless of number of skiers on team.

Technical information
  • Racers who miss their start will be on the clock from their original start time.
  • Racers must ski for the school they attend or district they reside. 
  • Grooming will take place between the Freestyle and the relay race.  Please yield to groomer.
  • Relay: Register your relay team(s) at the "Registration" table. 3 member teams.  ‘A’ teams will wear spandex bibs, ‘B’ teams will wear cloth bibs. One A team per gender/school, all others as well as mixed gender teams will race in B relay, no limit.

General information
  • There will be a Food Booth, with hot and cold drinks, home made soups, sandwiches, brownies, hot dogs, snacks, etc.
  • All waxing is outside, electricity available.
  • Parking, do not block Post Office or Library. Use plowed lot behind Library.
