The NH J2 and Eastern High School Teams

A major focus of the NH Nordic Coaches Association is the development of ski racing throughout the state. To that end the Association selects the skiers who will represent New Hampshire at the J2 Championships and The Eastern High School Championships.

What is a J2?

J2 age are roughly 14 and 15 years old (for 2012, that means born either 1996 or 1997)

Do I need to be a member of NENSA?

Yes, all team members must be Nensa members. You may join NENSA at nensa.net

What if I miss a race due to illness or injury?

You can file a waiver with the Team Leader. Waiver policy can be found on the Registration page. This must be done prior to the second NH Series race.

What will the competition cost?

$310 (plus NENSA membership - above)

What does the fee include?

The fee covers: lodging, coaching, all meals, race entry fees, team hat, t-shirt, use of team uniform, and wax.

Can I buy a NH Team Jacket?

Yes, there is a box on the registration form for ordering a jacket ($100) Jackets may only be ordered with payment. None will be available after January 28th

Where will we be staying?

Comfort Inn and Suites, Wilton ME

All J2 skiers must room with the team.

Where can parents stay?

How do I get there?

Athletes are responsible for their own transportation to Black Mt on Friday and home on Sunday.

There will be bus transportation to/from venue/hotel Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday morning.
